Discover Chapelton

Fraser Sangster in his mid 20's completed the purchase on a stylish-new Keithlock apartment and he couldn't be happier with his new home. Discover what made Fraser choose ZeroC, what his experience was like and what he loves most about Chapelton.

What attracted you to Chapelton and specifically ZeroC?

Working in the nursery at Chapelton I always kept an eye on the properties available.  In other developments the houses are all very similar and it’s not like that here.  I like how traditional it feels.  You can turn a corner and everything looks different. The price was within my budget, too so it was brilliant.  Being a First Time Buyer it ticked all the boxes I had in my head.

What are your favourite things about your property?

I love my kitchen and the island!!  The whole layout of the flat is just perfect. The fibre internet is so fast which is fantastic.

How was your experience with purchasing your home?

The customer service I got when I first came to view was great.  I didn’t feel pressured at all.  I was put in touch with a financial advisor by Sally and that really helped me take the next step confidently.

How long were you looking for a new home?

I actually reserved my home and was in my property in 6 weeks which is crazy!  I had been looking for a while prior to this, but nothing appealed.  When I saw my property was available I was absolutely delighted.

Any tips for moving home?

Stay calm!

Favourite aspect of Chapelton so far?

I love Hume Square – particularly when the Farmers Market is on!  I love Bunting Place, too as it’s so nice and quiet and lovely to look out to from my flat.

Have you met your neighbours and do you feel there’s a good sense of community?

I have!  I actually met my downstairs neighbour the day I reserved through chance – she was really welcoming and we’re planning on having a prosecco night very soon!  I’ve met the rest of my direct neighbours once I’d moved in and everyone is lovely.  I think as Chapelton’s such a unique development, it attracts likeminded people.  Bunting Place has a lovely community feel about it which I love.
