Our East Lothian development at Longniddry Village has hit the big time!

The attractive community of two, three and four-bedroom homes was featured on the BBC’s show Escape to the Country recently, in an episode that saw an Edinburgh buyer helped to make a longed-for break from the city in Scotland’s picturesque lowlands.

In the episode (which aired on Tuesday 15 March), our beautiful show home – the Laurie – made an appearance as the show’s first-ever new-build wildcard, demonstrating that our homes offer the charm and character associated with older properties but with all the benefits you’d expect from buying new.

The film crew spent a considerable amount of time exploring the spacious show home before heading out to the garden to interview Sales Executive Sheila Mackay, who provided an insight into this lovely community and how people could make it their home.

Sheila said: “I was honoured to be part of the episode representing Places for People – it was great to welcome the crew to Longniddry and show off our stunning build and design. It was lovely to meet Jules too – he was great!”

We were thrilled to have the opportunity to showcase modern country living at this stunning collection of high-quality homes, where customers can enjoy the best of both worlds – delightful period building features alongside the latest modern conveniences.

Watch the episode on BBC iPlayer.
