An artist’s impression of new homes in Hampshire have been revealed.
Maple Fields in Bordon is being developed by Places for People and features a collection of two and three-bedroom semi-detached and detached homes and one and two-bedroom apartments. As well as boasting high specification interiors, these distinctive homes offer real character, adding to the charm of the area and creating stunning street scenes.
Following on from the success of ZeroC's, part of Places for People, first development in Bordon at Woolmer Copse, Maple Fields is bringing 60 new homes to the area, which is situated a stone’s throw away from Prince Philip Park. The homes will also boost the supply of new homes and make a positive contribution towards the supply of affordable housing in the area with homes available for sale, Shared Ownership and also to rent.
Forty-three homes at Maple Fields will be modular homes – constructed off-site and delivered to Bordon after they have been built and set in the foundations on-site.
The modular building process is becoming more popular in the UK, providing a fast, cost-effective and efficient way to build a new home. Maple Fields’ modular homes will be constructed by Ilke, at its factory in Knaresborough.
Sales and Marketing Director for Places for People, Jacqui Egan, said: “We are excited to be launching our second development in Bordon. The development has been extremely well thought out and is not only high-quality but also complements the existing character of the area. Maple Fields will feature a collection of semi-detached and detached homes, as well as apartments.
“We’re creating a range of affordable and well-designed homes at Maple Fields which will give our customers unrivalled choice and quality in Bordon. We’re looking forward to welcoming our customers to our new marketing suite which is due to open in the coming weeks.”
The Maple Fields development, which was named by local resident Craig Rogers due to its longstanding connection to Canada, having been home to the Canadian Army during both world wars, is located on Station Road in the town of Bordon. Whitehill and Bordon’s status as an NHS England Healthy New Town also offers fantastic facilities such as a new leisure centre and supports a healthy family lifestyle.
Sales for Maple Fields will launch at an exclusive invite-only event prior to general release to the public.
