The roaring 20s are upon us and with this new decade, come lots of changes at Prince Philip Park – home to our Woolmer Copse development.
With the former Parade Square area now clear, the wider regeneration team for the village is delivering exciting new amenities and here, we can tell you more about them…
Open now, the BOSC
Bordon and Oakhanger Sports Club (BOSC) offers a multitude of activities. Nestled in a beautiful setting, the BOSC started life in 1910 as a cricket ground and pavilion – now the building offers a fabulous place to enjoy great food and drink and there’s an elegant function room suitable for those special occasions or corporate events. It opened in 2019 and is already proving a hit amongst locals.
Coming summer 2020, a £10m new leisure centre
Everyone Active’s new Whitehill & Bordon Leisure Centre will open this summer. Replacing the existing Mill Chase Leisure Centre, the facility will feature a six-lane, 25m swimming pool, teaching pool, 80-station gym and two large fitness studios – including a dedicated spin studio.
Coming winter 2020, the makers market
Completing late in 2020, and very much in keeping with the rising European market and street food vibe, the Makers Market will include a business space, heritage centre as well as a covered market hall.
Coming next year, a brand new hub
…And, at the heart of the local area will be a new hub of amenities, filled with a brand-new food store, health hub, car parking facilities, a cinema, restaurants and more. We’ll keep you posted on plans as they unfold.
