Here we meet Jacqui Egan, Head of Sales at ZeroC, and Ester Bond, Interior Designer at Designs for all Occasion, to find out more about the inspiration for the brand new show apartment.

“I’ve experience designing many show homes but I knew from the off that Monaveen House would be different.” Explains Jacqui. “The brand-new show apartment boasts 2 large bedrooms, one ensuite, a family size bathroom and a beautifully configured open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen. It was imperative that our clients felt welcome and at ease as soon as they stepped through the door and this was emphasised in our design brief.

“I didn’t want an office feel to our meet and greet area, but a welcoming and homely area where our visitors can enjoy a hot beverage whilst taking in the apartments grandeur. A beautiful glass desk is discreetly included within the open plan area for our clients to discuss their needs further – but it’s a far cry from the old-fashioned sales office and we’ve removed that staunch barrier of old.”

“The initial inspiration was from the reams of neighbouring land – Monaveen House is nestled within the beautiful Duchy of Cornwall so there’s certainly a regal feel to the homes.” Added Ester. “We were keen to seamlessly bring the outside influence inside, hence there is a calm and welcoming feel with an abundance of natural materials on a soothing grey backdrop with a calming green accent colour.

“The apartment flooring choices are beautiful too. There’s the hallway’s stunning art deco influenced tile floor in classic black and white, high quality Karndean flooring throughout the open plan living space and sumptuous carpets to the bedrooms crying out for bare feet to experience.

“We are extremely mindful of our clients expectations and have also put together interior packages. The windows in the living area are magnificently large, therefore we have created a custom window cover offering including full length curtain options and a variety of blind styles for throughout the homes.

“Ultimately we’re providing a stunning canvas for our clients to individually dress – we’ve provided a neutral yet opulent backdrop awaiting it’s new owners input. To offer inspiration we’ve dressed the rooms with velvet armchairs, large mirrors, linen curtains and leather bedside tables, we’ve also used sleigh beds in the generous bedrooms and feature lighting throughout with beautiful statement lamps. Completing the overall look with cushions from the Romo Black Collection – it’s a beautiful show apartment which we’re very proud of and look forward to welcoming clients to look around.”
