Roborough Eco Homes get golden seal of approval

ZeroC’s eco-housing development in Plymouth has taken home a top accolade at the prestigious WhatHouse? Awards.

Roborough Eco Homes in Bickleigh won the highly coveted gold award for Best Sustainable Development, with judges praising its “triumph in delivering truly eco-build housing which successfully combines stylish design with carbon conscious living.”

Celebrating the country’s very best new homes, the WhatHouse? Awards – now in their 37th year – are judged by an extensive panel of property experts, including architects, surveyors, property writers and industry specialists.

Following the win, Mike Frost, Head of Development at ZeroC for the South West said, “We are delighted to have been awarded Best Sustainable Development for Roborough Eco Homes. We are passionate about creating high quality, outstanding homes which not only respect the environment but are inexpensive for our customers to live in, and it is a great achievement that this has been recognised by industry experts.”

Offering a range of two to five bedroom homes, and one and two bed apartments, the development boasts fantastic sustainable qualities, capable of achieving a 100% reduction in target emissions when compared to the Building Regulations guidelines.

Using the latest energy-saving technology, and highly efficient, durable materials and construction methods designed to minimise waste, the homes are striking in appearance and built to last.

The judge’s panel remarked that this was an ‘eco-benchmark that others would do well to follow’.

Nestled on the edge of Dartmoor National Park and just six miles from Plymouth city centre, Roborough Eco Homes offers a sense of rural and city living. Whether you're single, a couple or a family – at any time of life – this is your chance to be part of something totally different. House prices start from £250,000.
